The room onto the courtyard at Tresco, just outside Bloemfontein city in Bainsvlei, is where the second workshop started out. Thanks to Tilla & Francois:) We have grown into a rather neat and busy workshop there. In the beginning of being and working there, some months apart at a time, many fiddles and bows have been restored, repaired and voiced there. Also it has been a place of inspiration because of the care and respect for the music and its instruments. One fantastic addition to this workshop is the entry of a fine aspiring violin maker and full time paramedic, Juan Glover.
With time, lots of lessons and knuckle warping practice the two of us are getting to a point where Juan will be able to do most any repair at the drop of a hat.
