Having worked with a host of different people with different skills and talent, slowly there is a network of able people growing who trust one another in collaborative tasks and restoration projects.

Some of the people who are currently learning to setup, repair and make instruments with us, mostly violin related are listed below.

Sarah Shabangu – Svend’s Violin workshop assistant and part time book keeper.
Preeti Parboo Nasing – started in 2014 with Luthier training @Svend’s Violin. Preets is well on her way to becoming a master restoration lady.
Simon Hill – started in 2016 with private Luthier training @Svend’s Violin.

Bloemfontein
Nzimane Tresco – Assistant to Svend’s Violin when on work tour to Bloemfontein and Assistant to Juan Glover with work done in training for the Botshabelo Strings Program.
Juan Glover – started in 2016 with private Luthier training with Svend’s Violin when on working tour in Bloem.

ECPO Strings Repair Workshop
Thembeca Booi – Trained by Svend’s Violin since 2012 in partnership with the ECPO strings project to start an entrepreneurial workshop driven to serve both internal ECPO repairs and their local community.
