Jargar strings offer good sound, stability, durability for a reasonable price. With many combinations to choose from.
Jarl Hansen, a Danish cellist, wanted more than what gut strings provided the Royal Danish Opera Orchestra in the 1950’s. His interest in string quality and sound got him to experiment in his spare time, until 1956, when his Handmade Strings were launched.
These steel core strings, wound with pure alloy metals, give a warm and brilliant tone with stability, durability and strength.
These qualities have made Jargar strings highly popular throughout the classical music world. Still providing musicians around the world with handmade power and unique responsiveness.
