The Pirastro Chromcor Double Bass A string has a core of a single filament of high-tensile steel and is wound with chrome steel. Chromcor strings are especially suited for arco. They have a bright sound without any metallic harshness. Chromcor have exceptional tuning stability and are immediately playable. They are 3/4 or 1/4 size, available as a single string or as part of a set
