Obligato Viola – C

Description

Description

The Pirastro Obligato Viola string set comprises a C string which has a core made from a modern synthetic multifilament fibre and is wound with tungsten silver. The G and D strings have the same core but are wound with silver and the A string has a steel core wound with aluminium.

Obligato are very popular as the ‘all-round’ string – a full and warm sound but with a brilliant and focused tone. Having a synthetic core, they tune quickly and are immediately playable. Obligato viola strings are very stable and resistant to changes in temperature and humidity. They have an outstanding response.
