Description
The Pirastro Tonica viola string set has a synthetic, nylon core. The C string is wound with Tungsten-silver, the G string with silver and the D and A strings with aluminium. Tonica viola strings are an old favourite and now made with a new formula giving them even more of a lively and round sound with good volume. They respond instantly to any bowing style, rewarding both player and listener with an open and direct sound. They are insensitive to variations in temperature and humidity.

Warchal Amber Viola Set
When we created our new Amber strings we used all of our experience and knowledge to make the highest quality string set. Our aim was to achieve at least the same quality of sound that gut strings provide, but without the typical tuning instability. To be able to do this we have developed a completely new core material called W-Core®.
