As we grow and go along with the greater Svencino project we intend to create enough resources for all musicians to find and get what they need to make their musical experience sound.
To do this we are slowly finding more people and interested parties that will be able to host a range of different functions from collection to distribute, do repairs in far away places and have what they need to function the tasks regardless of what is needed. Seeing that violins have a lot of regulation in the detail it can be hard to always have what is required on the spot. So we intend to help create a network that will provide information, a support basse, parts and materials that maybe are available from someone hidden in a forgotten place, if we don’t have it right away.
Everything about the violin is a challenge. If we can manage to mitigate this, then we are on the right track.
At this point we have a few people learning to work on instruments with us in Johannesburg, Bloemfontein and Port Elizabeth. As this network grows you will be able to find them in our services catalogue for basics that you need … changing a tricky string or preventing it from constantly breaking, a sound adjustment perhaps?
